Fulton

I did this for an exhibition of local artists with the theme of the Fulton Mall In Downtown Fresno. Part of a revitalization project. My concept was for a sort of distorted reality that was centered around the figure reading in the doorway. 1015 Fulton Mall is the site of the former Bank of Italy (Bank of America) building. Apparently this is the site of the pressing of the first credit card in the United States! I did the whole process (Stretching and priming the canvas, drawing the image, and painting the final painting) in just 3 days! That's a record for me...

Well, after completely misreading the requirements for this show I'll be changing venues- this will be going into the county fair instead. I (hope I) have learned a valuable lesson here...

I managed to win an honorable mention in my county fair with this piece! Yay me!!!
